This document describes enhancements and corrections for School LINQ.

New Features

Fund Management

Manage Accounts

Account History Report

  • New! The Account History Report will now have the option to Summarize by Elements.

    • One or more Elements can be included.

    • Users can also choose the order the Elements selected display on the Summary.

Cash Management

Process Payments

  • New! An archived ach files button has been added to Process Payments when ACH is selected, so users can retrieve or recreate an ACH file that was previously created.

    • A new window opens where users can search for ACH Files.

Leave Balance Report

  • New! A export to excel button has been added to the Leave Balance Report to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Roles

  • New! Each subsection header now has an expand all and collapse all link that will expand or collapse every subsection.

    • Each subsection has columns for No Access, Read Only, and View/Edit with a Select link in the header. Clicking select will set that column's access level for each item in the subsection detail.

Timekeeper Setup

  • New! A Timekeeper Setup menu item has been added to System Setup that an Admin user can access and control. This is in preparation for the future release of the new time keeping system.

    • Timekeeper Setup provides the ability to enter one or many valid IP Addresses that are allowed to access the Timekeeper site for clock in/out.

    • General Settings provides the following options:
      • Approve Clock-In Only Hours
      • Admin Approve Imported Records
      • Prompt for Missed Clock-Out
      • Force User to Correct Missed Clock-Out
    • Set the following:
      • Round Time to Nearest (minutes)
      • Exceeds Normal Hours (hours)
      • Below Normal Hours (hours)
    • Account Lockout Settings provide the ability to set the following:
      • Max Failed Attempts
      • Account Reset Timer
    • File Import Information includes the following:
      • Directory
      • File Name
    • Paycheck Availability for Employees will:
      • Display Checks on Check Date
      • Display Checks after Finalize

Purchasing

Manage Purchase Orders

  • A Created By option has been added to the Select filter in Manage Purchase Orders to allow searching POs by the user who created them.

Print/Email Purchase Orders

  • Users can now print all Purchase Orders at once, rather than having to print them in small batches of 14 or less.

Cash Management

Process Payments / Manage Invoices

  • If an FM ACH vendor is marked as EFT it will now be marked as EFT on the FM ACH Generated Invoice.

    • Users now have the ability to change the Payment method field so FM ACH vendors marked as EFT, can be recognized by the system generated invoice.

    • Changes to FM ACH Invoices will be recorded in View/Edit Invoice - History.

  • Any Adjustments to Earnings or Deductions will now be recorded in Audit History.

Modify Payment

Deduction Refund

  • The Amount available for refunding will now display in the Amount column.
    • If a deduction refund for a portion of the amount has already been processed, the Amount column will show the remaining amount available for refund.
