Sprint 29 Release Notes 05-02-2019

This document describes enhancements and corrections for School LINQ.

New Features

School Accounting/ Fund Management

Cash Management

Check Register Report

  • New! A Check Register Report has been added to the Cash Management menu to allow users to print a report of selected checks.

Fund Management

Accounts Payable

AP Invoice Aging Report

  • New! An Invoice Aging Report has been added to Accounts Payable that displays Invoices that are due and past due.

 

System Settings

User Management

Users

  • New! User Status and Type filters have been added to Users.
    •  The Status drop-down list options are Active or Inactive, and the Type filteroptions are All, Application Users, or Employee Only.

      • Employee Only is being added in preparation for upcoming Timekeeper product.

  • New! A Status column has been added to the User grid to give users the ability to view only Active users.

    • Users with unconfirmed emails now have a trash icon on their General tab to delete the user.

  • New! An Employee Only check box has been added to the General tab of Users to distinguish between School LINQ users and Employee Only users.

Balance Sheet Report

  • A export to excel button has been added to the Balance Sheet Report to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Income Statement Report

  • A export to excel button has been added to the Income Statement Report to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Journal Entry List

  • A export to excel button has been added to the Journal Entry List to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Accounts Payable

Vendor History Report

  • A export to excel button has been added to the Vendor History Report to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Vendor Payments Report

  • A export to excel button has been added to the Vendor Payments Report to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Purchasing

Manage Purchase Orders

  • Printed Purchase Orders will load the PDF in a new tab without error.

Cash Management

Process Payments

  • When processing an ACH, if the newly masked account does not exist, an Invalid Account dialog box will now appear to alert the user of the error.

Deposits

  • When Printing and Posting a Deposit, it will now generate the deposit in a new window.

    • Upon closing the deposit window, a message box will display confirming the deposit printed/processed correctly.

    • Clicking YES will complete the posting of the deposit.

    • Clicking NO will NOT post the deposit and it will remain in an open status.

  • A Reinstate Deposit check box has been added to the Void Deposit form.

    • If checked when a deposit is voided, all the receipts tied to the deposit will be recreated and the next available deposit # will be assigned to them.

  • A export to excel button has been added to the Check History Report to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Employee Deductions Report

  • A export to excel button has been added to the Employee Deductions Report to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Employee Jobs Report

  • A export to excel button has been added to the Employee Jobs Report to give users the ability to export the report to Excel.

Processing

Account Summary Report

  • A PRC Total has been added to the Account Summary Report.
