This document describes enhancements and corrections for School LINQ.

Employee LINQ

Registration

Register Now

  • NEW! A tooltip has been added to the Use Existing User Name check box to notify users when to use it.

Employee

Profile

  • NEW! A new menu option has been added to allow employees to view their profile information. This is the same information as Payroll: Manage Employees: Manage Employees.

Personal Tab

Contacts Tab

Reports: Check History

  • Check amounts now display in currency format.

 

Fund Management

Manage Accounts

Setup Budget

  • NEW! A Finalize button was added so users can complete their budgets.
    • Once finalized, no additional changes to Beginning Budget can be made.

Accounts Payable

Manage Invoices

  • An error will display on ‘Save’ if an ACH Invoice has all ‘?'s’ in the ACH Setup.
    • This is the same if District is Licensed or not Licensed.

Setup

  • A message will display if all ‘?s’ are entered in the ACH Credit Account or ACH Debit Account field, the user will be prevented from saving.

Cash Management

Process Payments

  • The Attn to field will print under the Payee Name, and will only print / display on a payment if the field is populated on the invoice.
    • Address 2 will only print / display on a payment only if the field is populated on the invoice.
  • The error occurring with the blank space between Payee Name and Address 1 if Attn to is not present, has been corrected.

Void Payments

  • If the Reinstate Invoices check box is checked for Check / EFT (check box if not available for ACH), then the message will display: ‘X Payment will be voided. Invoice will be reinstated’.
    • On ACH process methods, where the Reinstate Invoices check box is not available, then the message will display: ‘X Payment will be voided’.

Manage Employees: Jobs Tab

  • NEW! An FTE (Full Time Equivalency) field has been added for districts that need to record this information. This is optional.
    • The field is decimal, and does not calculate into any reporting or payroll.
