Sharing Menus

Once you have set up your "Parent/Master" district you can share Menus data (ingredients, recipes and menus) with "Child" districts.

  • As a "Parent/Master" district, all your "Child" districts will appear in the grid.
  • Check the box of the "Child" district you want to Share data with.
  • Click the Share button to complete.

Unsharing Menus

  • Check the box of the "Child" district you want to Unshare data with.
  • Click the Unshare button to complete.

Notes about Shared Data

  • When viewing ingredients on a "Child" district, recipes and menus that have been shared will show the source as the "Parent/Master" district that the items originated from.
  • "Child" districts will not be able to make changes to Shared menu data.
    • Shared items will be tagged as Read-Only on the "Child" district database.
  • If you want to make changes to "Child" district Menus data, the "Parent/Master" district will need to perform the changes.
