Verification
Please review these steps before you begin. The sequence is important.
Please refer to each section for detailed information.
- Be sure you have the correct As Of date, method and percentages in Verification Configuration. If you have any questions about what is required for your district, please check with your state agency.
- Select the applications to be verified in Verification Selection.
- Print and review the list of applications selected and the summary report of pre-verification counts with Selection Summary and List on Verification Reports.
- After selection, you can review each application for accuracy with the Confirmation Review option on Selected for Verification.
- You can select not to verify selected applications if the households will not be able to comply with the request with Decline to Verify.
- Print letters to notify the families that they have been selected with Verification Selection Letters.
If a student is withdrawn, automatically from the SIS or manually, and their application was selected for Verification, a new application will automatically be selected in its place. If this occurs there will be new Selection Letters, so please check for letters throughout October.

Enter the information that the households send back directly on the application from the Results Input option on Selected for Verification.
- Print letters to notify the families of the results with Results Letters. Any further changes will need to be done through the Application Hub.
- You can go back into Verification Selection and add more applications if necessary with Selection: Adjusted.
- Finalize verification results with Close Verification.
- Print the SFA (School Food Authority) Summary and Detail reports with Verification Reports.
