This form is for setting up the format for the Generic Export, which can be used for exporting data to other systems.
- Select CA (CNIPS) from the Select a File Type dropdown list. Additional fields will display.
Field Description/Constant Value Grid
- Enter the required CNIPS information in this grid.
- Vendor Number, Sponsor Name, CNIPS ID and Site Mapping (under Site Id).
- Please contact CNIPS to determine what values should be entered. NOTE: If you enter more digits than the CNIPS field can hold, the extra digits will be truncated in the export file.
- Enter the CNIPS Vendor Number in the Constant Value field.
- You do not need to change anything else in this window.
- Enter the CNIPS District Name in the Sponsor Name Constant Value field.
- Click Save. It will close the window and the Source grid will display the value you entered.
- Enter the CNIPS ID Number in the CNIPS ID Constant Value field.
- Click Save. It will close the window and the Source grid will display the value you entered.
Site Mapping
- Hover over the Site Id row, and click the
Cog Option to add/edit mappings. A new form opens for mapping the Meals Plus Sites to CNIPS Sites. NOTE: You cannot map a constant.
- Each Meals Plus POS Site will need to be mapped to a CNIPS Site Id. NOTE: When using the NC or SC Claim, it will be automatically mapped to the appropriate POS Site Id.
To add a new site mapping
- Click Clear first to prevent overwriting existing settings.
- Enter the Meals Plus Site Id in the Source Value field.
- Enter the CNIPS Site Id in the Mapped Value field.
To edit an existing site mapping
- Highlight the row to be changed, make changes, and then click Save.
