Aeries Integration

The Aeries Integration allows users to import student data directly from the Aeries API.

Configuration

  • Checking the Enable Aeries Integration box will automatically sync Meals Plus Web with Aeries based on the Import Frequency selected.
  • Select the Import Frequency from the dropdown list. You can select the following:
    • Every 24 hours
    • Every 12 hours
    • Every 6 hours
    • Every 3 hours
    • Every 2 hours
    • Every hour
  • The Base URL is the URL of your Aeries API.
  • The Certificate is a 32-character alpha numeric string provided by Aeries.

Mapping Fields

  • Match the Aeries field names with the Meals Plus Web field names by selecting an Aeries field from the dropdown list.
    • Ensure all fields match for the integration to import successfully.
  • Only four fields are required for Aeries integration:

    • Student Number

    • Last Name
    • First Name
    • Site
  • A Skip option is available as an option in order to bypass fields you do not want imported.
  • The Map Sites (Languages and Grades) button allows users to map Sites, Languages and Grades fields from Aeries to Meals Plus Web.
    • Each Source Value can only be mapped once.
      • This field is user-defined data.

Preview

  • The Single Student Preview allows users to import a single student into Meals Plus Web to ensure that all fields have been mapped correctly.

  • Enter a student's ID in the Student ID field.
  • Enter the school code in the School Code field.
  • Click the Preview button to preview the fields.
  • If the fields are mapped correctly, click the Import button.
  • Click the Next button to continue.

Manual Import

  • Click the Import button to begin the full Aeries Import.
  • The progress of the Import can be tracked in the Work In Progress of the Nav Bar. A looping animation will also play in the Manual Import section:

  • The results of the import can be view in Utilities: Import Results.
