Employee LINQ

Navigation Bar

  • NEW! A Navigation Bar has been added to Employee LINQ on the left side of the page. The EMPLOYEE tab includes Home and Clock In/Out. The REPORTS tab includes Timesheets, Check History, and View W2s.

  • NEW! Users can now view their Leave Types balance and eligibility using the Leave Balance tab.
  • NEW! Users can now view and print previous paid checks using the Check History tab.
  • NEW! Users can now view and print W2s using the View W2s tab.

Clock In/Out

  • If a job is clocked in, it will be the top-most job on the page.
  • If IP restrictions are enabled in System Settings, employee will only be able to clock in/out from designated IP addresses.

EmployeeLINQ Setup

  • NEW! Administrative users can now restrict Clock-In/Out functionality to specific IP addresses. There is a master setting to turn IP restrictions on or off.

  • NEW! Add approved IP addresses by clicking the button. Once IP address(es) have been added, check the IP Restriction Enabled box to activate.
  • NEW! Option to Round In Favor of Employee eliminates any chance of employee losing time. When Round Time to nearest is set to 1 or 5, selecting Round in Favor of Employee will round clock in time down to the nearest 1 or 5 minutes and clock out time will be rounded up to the nearest 1 or 5 minutes. No seconds to be included as per the current settings when rounding is set to 1 or 5.

Job Setup

  • Job Details now has a check box for Ignore IP Address Restrictions for Clocking In/Out. If this option is enabled on a job, any employee having that job can clock in/out from anywhere despite IP restrictions that may be enabled.

Manage Employees

Jobs

  • Employee Jobs in Pay Group marked Lump Sum will not display Allow Clocking-in option. When an employee logs in to Employee LINQ, they will not see job card(s) for job(s) within the Lump Sum hours entry Pay Group. To allow employee’s job to be clock in/out, move job to a different Pay Group or remove the Lump Sum hours option from the Pay Group the job is currently in.

  • All clocked hours are viewable, but read-only.

Calculate Payroll

  • NEW!Calculate is now a split button. Click the main body of the button to begin Payroll Processing. Click the right-most area of the button to drop-down list an option menu to run the Account Validation Report for the selected Pay Group. Click VALIDATE ACCOUNTS to run Account Validation Report.

Reports: Deduction Account Validation Errors

  • NEW! This report performs account masking validations between employee job accounts and related deduction account masks. The report can be filtered by Pay Group, and displays the Employee, Validation Error, Job, Job Account #, Deduction Code, Deduction Account Mask, and Invalid Account #.

  • Description Field window size has been increased. A hover popup has also been added that displays the entire contents of the Description Field.

Reports

  • Account History Report bug has been fixed allowing the use of any and all combinations for the range feature.
  • Account History Report bug has been fixed so line descriptions are displayed when Show Invoice Details is flagged.

  • Bug preventing changes to customer record being saved has been fixed.
